Salty CB100

So, after finishing and selling the CB250 Brat Tracker (http://www.returnofthecaferacers.com/2013/05/honda-cb250-brat-tracker.html), I managed to score my first two 'client' builds.
One is a 75 CB400F (more on that later), and the other this cute little 72 CB100 for Liza.

Plans are:
- Dunlop TT100's,
- Jeep Grey Metallic
- Ventura Bars
- Custom seat
- Rear hoop
- Shortened fenders
- New lighting (minus headlight)

Nice "bikelette"... I've got one a year older that started out as a CL. I'll be watching this one to see how it turns out. I really liked how another forum CB100 ended up...

I too, have a 1972 CB100 and want to see how this turns out.

Maybe pick up a few pointers, and give some if I can.

Looks a hellava better than mine from the get go.

I did a cb100/125 cafe as my first bike.
Much prefer my stock CL125
Hard to get the pegs right with lowered bars

What kind of paint did you use on the engine?

Looks purty kewl.

'Course my head and cylinder is in a bag, trying to find a machine shop to bore it .050 over.

rest is hanging off the rafters in the shed.

budlite, it is wrinkle finish paint, made by VHT.
I've just polished the fins which make it look a lot better.
Pics soon.

Drew up a speedo bracket on CAD for waterjet cutting. Suits a mini Daytona speedo and some LED warning lights.

Before & After shots of the engine.

3.00-18 Dunlop TT100GP fitted to the front. Tight, but if it just fits, it fits right!? I had to modify the fender brackets slightly for clearance.
