"The Day the Music Died" (well, a few days early)
As a little kid I started listening to Doo-Wop. My Dad was always in bands that played '50's & '60's Rock and Roll. It was the music he grew up with.
My favorite song as a toddler was Rockin' Robin by Bobby Day
Man, between this thread and the Ramones/Misfits thread, I'm listing to music I haven't heard in years
I'd meet at the Vortex before the show, but me and my Rocket 350 boys decided it might be a good idea to practice before the show, since we haven't played in a while!! I'll be getting to the bar around 9:30 or so.
Cheers.
Sadly my day is all busied up already. Gotta take advantage of the warm weather and get some bike work done. Star Bar is great! I saw the Spooks (Black Lips) there one Halloween.
