Scored a Chrome bullet style 5" yellow glass 1960's light. Mounting? Thoughts?

Fear My Twin

Chicks hate my bike.
Found this in the trunk of a 1963 volvo in my local junkyard. Just sitting there minding its own business. God knows how long it sat in there. Snagged it for $5, brought it home and figured I would try and mount it on my bike but I cant figure out how to best mount it. Any ideas?

A quick google search for Appleton electric yielded an abandoned factory in Canada thats about it.

Going on this bike.

Thoughts? Does it have any place on a bike?

I dunno about that one - but under the headlight is out of the question. First good bump on the road and your fender is going to introduce itself in a bad way.

FYI: I'm pretty sure that's actually a fog light rather than a headlight but hit it with a hot enough bulb and you should get ok light out of it.
Looking at the lovely goosneck it comes with, I'd try to use that. It should be a pretty simple matter to make a bracket to fit the bottom triple clamp and allow that nice sweeping stalk to bolt on. I don't have the stock trees for mine anymore so I can reference by site, but if you can snap me a pic of yours from the front (at least to start with I can likely get you dialed in.

Another way to go would be to make a 'bridge clamp' that would clamp between the fork legs, in between the triples that you could bolt to.
