Seat recommendations for Suzuki GS

Ok, I need some ideas for my seat before I start cutting on the frame. I have a 1980 Suzuki GS that I'm going to turn into a cafe racer. The bike I'm looking at that I love is a 81 GS that I think has the roadster cafe seat from Rockcity, but my concern is it will be too long. I've made a mockup with the same dimensions and it seems like the seat will almost be flush with the back tire. Take a look at the attachments. Opinions? The next post is the bike I'm basing my build on.

it looks like you already know what you want. just gotta do it.

Do it like that if you want to be able to wiggle around a bit, keeps blood flow to your legs a bit longer. Small seats might look alright (depending on the rest of the set up) but they are hell on the back and legs.

Have you checked out Airtech? http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/vintage/vintageseats_round.htm
The nice thing about them is if you click on the "More Photos" for a seat it usually shows the key dimensions written on each piece.

I'll have to check them out. Besides airtech, dime city and rockcity are there any other vendors that you recommend for seats?
