I try to ride in between rain drops, any body else up for going somewhere in groups? Maybe just ride somewhere for lunch that has some nice curves on the way?

YES. Absolutely. Also I'd love to find some folks who have half a clue who would be interested in wrenching on bikes together - half the time I feel like I'm going to do something stupid and destroy it...

As for rides, hmm... a good lunch place with some curves...

I was thinking about going here

I've herd Vashon has some nice country roads with 50 MPH speed limits. The Tree eating bicycle is just something to do. I figured a I'd just look for a place to eat on the way.
I'm game for Sunday if the weather is good.
I'm open to other ideas, that's just something I came up with while searching for local places.
We could wrench at my place but I'm not the most mechanically educated person. I'm just learning as I go.

You and me both man, I'm really glad I haven't broken my bike beyond repair yet...

Vashon is awesome, I've ridden across on the ferry a couple times - there's one road kinda tucked away in the woods that's really tight/twisty and awesome, but way too short.

The 29th works for me, I'll see if my friend Chris is up for it too - he's got a pretty awesome CB200.

Cool, we'll have to watch the weather and then make the call whether to go or not in the morning.

Oh yeah, the Backfire event is happening on April 15th

haha, note the new thread I created while you were posting this : )

So I figure I'll post in this thread and the one on the backfire talk forum Sunday morning letting people know what Fairy we'll be on and anyone interested in going can meet us there.

Yesterday there ended up being three of and we had great f'n time. My bike covered Vashon and it's self in oil but survived the ordeal.
If the weather holds out on next Sunday (April 5th) and my oil 400 is still road worthy, I'm going to ride somewhere and spend most of the day doing it. I don't have a destination yet but I'm down for whatever.

Awesome man - man, I'm bummed I didn't make it. How was the bike in the tree?

We never even stopped to look at the tree eating bike, maybe next time. We just tore up the roads at some samiches and went home.

I'm going to hit up Kitsap County Sunday if it doesn't look like rain storms Sunday morning.

Im a little late to this party, but I would love to meet some folks to ride with. I'm down in Burien and am always riding solo...gets a little old.

My weekends are pretty much completely booked till late May, but weekdays work well for me - late afternoon jaunts out for a beer somewhere are always fun, especially with the days getting longer...
