Seized clutch on DOHC cb750.

Today was a special day, the day where I got to replace my bars, grips, mirrors and all of my controls. It was also a very hard day for various stupid reasons that arose, such as finding out it is necessary to drill holes in the bottom of the bars where a little metal tab built into the controls must seat. Thanks late 70's Honda corporation. Eventually I came to the clutch cable which didn't want to budge. I got it but realized in the process my clutch lever moves not at all. It is completely stuck in place at the case. Has anybody ever encountered this issue, the lever just completely sticking? If so, is it a consequence of extreme tension I put on it trying to get the cable out? If the clutch just dies of old age, would it do something like that? The clutch operated perfectly fine the last time I rode the bike, about 3 weeks ago.

It's probably something to do with the way you've tensioned / replaced the cable. When clutches wear out, they get loose, not tight.

You might have to take off the clutch cover and have a look at the lever mechanism.
