Spent some alone time with my cafe bike this weekend. Gave her a bath, and some fresh oil. We discussed it, and she agrees...it is time to go to a new owner. One that will ride her like she deserves to be ridden. So I posted my baby on craigslist, and thought I would post her here also, just incase there might be someone interested.
She is a 1973 Yamaha TX650. I have thousands invested in parts on this bike, and many hours designing, fabricating, and restoring it. And it is a blast to ride! Runs the twisties like it's on rails. Here is a list of most of the work done:
-New Avon Roadrunner tires, wheel bearings, and seals
-All new brake, clutch, throttle, tach/speedo, and decompression/starter lines
-New front caliper seal kit and pads as well as new rear brake shoes
-New brake/clutch levers, springs, and brake light switch
-New Fork tubes, seals, and dust boots
-Tapered steering head bearings
-Lucas style headlight with Halogen Bulb and Fork Mounts
-Tarozzi adjustable Clip-On Handlebars and Napoleon Bar End Mirrors
-New turn sigs front and rear, as well as an LED brake/running light
-Bronze swing arm bushings and a new pivot shaft
-New 12 ¾" Rear Shocks
-New Sprockets and 530 Drive chain
-PAMCO Ignition kit with HO coil and plug lines
-POD K&N air filters
-Reverse Cone Mufflers
-XS750 Tank Powder coated with new gas cap and 2 new petcocks
-Manx Racing Seat by Clubman Racing
That is most of the big stuff, minus new gaskets, filters, and seals here and there. The bike has just over 16k original miles, but under 500 since I completed my work. It has both kick start, and an electric start.

Show and Shine when I completed it: http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=9626
I am asking $3950 OBO and the bike is located in Hastings, MN.
I also have a set of Tarozzi rear sets and mounting plates, and an original 71-73 Yamaha Service manual to go with the bike at the right offer...
