Separate Carbs on a cb350f on My First Bike

If it were easy, it wouldn't be fun
Hi guys,

I'm new here. This is also the first bike I've ever owned so any work I'm doing on the bike is very new to me. I'm getting a little stuck right now and I'm hoping you guys can help me out.

Last week I bought a cb350f. The carbs on there seem pretty good except that on one of the carbs a previous owner tried to JB Weld a piece of the cast aluminum back into place after it broke. It was the part that held the float on the pivot pin. I found a second carb set from a used parts place. Unfortunately that one is really dirty. In the process of cleaning that one, I broke a screw off in the top end while trying to break free one of those slides. I know I could go and get a screw extractor for that but the whole carb set is so dirty and the other one is so much cleaner that now my thought is to go back to the first set of carbs and use that one, but remove one of the good carbs on the second set to fix the broken one on the first set. The problem is, I can't seem to figure out how to separate all of the carbs into individual ones. How do you do that guys? I'm a little lost.

Haven't actually taken my own apart but if you look at this diagram it would seem that #16 holds the carbs together and they screw into that plate, other than that there are also those fuel connectors that you might have to play with. Sorry if that's not very helpful.

Thanks for the diagram. It helped. I was able to get the carburetor apart and reassembled with the better carb set up. I appreciate the help.
