Serious accident news...

Aww damn dude! My heart hurts for you. I'm currently laid up with some new titanium in my left leg as well. Prayers for a full recovery man!
 
Okay, one more thing for those who can handle it, a recent picture of my leg!

Now leg me explain to you all what you're looking at if you so choose to view this brutal picture... This is where my leg was nearly severed by the choke lever on the bike. It cut through all of the muscles in my calf, and as the doctor said "filleted them". Once this happened all of those muscles and broken bones were sticking out of the wound, so what they needed to do was a "muscle flap" pulling muscle from elsewhere to cover it, and then a skin graft atop it. Although the center part of that wound that you see is pure muscle, which they're supposed to graft over this week.

Mike, believe it or not, they just went back in on Friday and sliced in to that shit some more, so now it looks different! Ha!

man, get well soon, glad you are alive and will be back to riding when you are healed up. Hope the D@#% that cut you off gets criminal charges against them and has to cover all your bills. And you sue for more $$ to teach then a lesson. I wish I lived a little closer as I would definately be on the team to get the Suzie on the road. And get the 175 back to running if possible. Get better soon and hope to get to ride with you someday.

Sorry guys, been away on vacation and just got back, today. What's the latest on the bike? did you guys already start in on her? Dude, I saw the pic of your leg and I have to say I'm really sorry I did! Wow! Lemme know guys if help's needed, okay?
 
Just caught wind of this. Glad to hear you are as well as can be expected. glad to see DTT taking care of its own too! I don't have any sloper parts but if there's anything I can do I will!

Diesel - It's an upright/vertical 175. I'm sure I have a pair of manifolds here that I can donate to the cause - if I knew where to send them.
 
I havent been in touch with John for a little bit. I think hes in the middle of surgerys... Once he and I can talk again, Ill go see the 175 and do an assessment of whats needed and if the bike is salvageable. On that note, I may have an entire 175 motor for him.
 
Man, I hope you're feeling better, Those photos looked painful. Your leg, wow. Really reminds me how careful we have to be. I hope you heal fast and I also hope your injuries are not going to impare you for life.
Worry about yourslelf for now. Wait until you heal, forget the bike, the time will come to decide on the bike.
