Serious accident news...

Guys! Super sorry for the delay. Since I last posted, I had 2 more surgeries. One was to fix some of the issues in that nasty ass pic, as thats exposed muscle. They had to rearrange some of it to cover better, and I also had a general debriedment and cleaning of part of my leg. I've also been taking IV antibiotics at home, and last week I got really really really sick. Had to go back to the hospital. They got me sorted out though and I seem to be back on the good path. I have another appointment tomorrow with the plastic surgeon to see if they can do the final skin graft to cover that wound on my leg. If so, whenever that graft heals they'll be able to do my bone graft surgery to repair the 4 inch piece of bone that's missing from my Tibia so I can start learning to walk again. Until then I'm one-legged on crutches/wheelchair with a semi-permanent IV port in my arm. Lucky to be alive though!

As for the bikes, I decided the 175 was too far gone. Frame was bent, seals were leaking, forks bent... In other words, it's fucked. However, whenever you guys want, I'd love some help finishing up the Suzuki!

Thanks again for all of the support... Again, another thing to be enormously grateful for.

John

Good to hear from ya again J.

Justin Longhorn, VonYinzer, and myself were actually just talking about the GT the other day. Expect a call from Mikey to work the details.

Sweet! She's sitting, ready for ya! Just needs that ignition fixed up and she'll be ready to be operated by a crippled owner! Haha

Keep us updated on your progress. I'm sure it's killing you to be down for so long. I had my cast removed and I'm sporting the air boot and crutches for the next month. Then I've got the boot and ginger steps for a bit. Doc says a full six months for my recovery. I'm sure yours is a bit longer. Good luck to you sir, glad you are alive and kept most of your bits intact. Sorry the same can't be said for that sweet little bike :)
