Seriously, this guy wants $2500 for a cb360 that is a "85%" project
I'd say it is at tops a $750 bike (and he can keep & Sell some of the "cafe" parts)...

what is wrong with people....but then again, maybe he will get it and I will quit my day job and start selling junk too!

Sucker born every minute. I like the flat rear tire -- "Might need a tube or two..." -- couldn't even bother to pump it up for the for sale photo.

You'd never know... If I would have to sell my CB450 cafe, I'd have to ask something aroung 4500. Lots of engine work and engine parts...

For sure its not original but just a piston job oversize and some new oversize valves and you're about there with a kit of gasket. For sure that type of things are unseens... :)

I'm not saying the price is overkill, it probably is. The wife must have asked him to sell the bike, and he dosen't want to :D

WIFE: You have to sell that pieces of crap that in the garage!
MEN THINK: I love that bike :(
MEN SAY: Ok... :(
MEN THINK: I'll put it on craiglist for a big amount of money :D If I sell it, good for me, but if I don't, I get to keep it :)

I like where your head is at Joe. But from the looks of it, I think he is just kidding himself.

Yeah that tire is a joke! it needs to be "wired"
Rubber is good, but tubes are not!
What an ass.

Seriously....$2500

Texas baby. Bikes here are way more expensive than most parts of the country

I hated hipsters before it was cool to do so.

You can ask any price you want on Craigslist, but it does not mean you are going to get it. Look at this "gem" of a "cafe racer" http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/mcy/3393276899.html

It's the same here in the Bay Area, you can't find a titled running 70's CB for less then a grand. If it's a "cafe" (aka stock with clubmans and maybe pods) then you'll see $1800-$3000 ::). Is anyone buying at these prices?

How about this one:

http://kalamazoo.craigslist.org/mcy/3367386063.html

Looks pretty good from across the garage. Up close it's embarassing (the 3M tape is already coming off, there's overspray, the seat isn't reinforced and is cracking at the corners, etc.)

This is over on Cycle World. Makes you kind of wonder about prices.

I could not disagree more...I have found dozens of "deals" in North Texas over the last decade.
And currently...Every week on Craigslist there are a handful of reasonably priced bikes.

It is yet another great thing about living in the DFW Metroplex, tons of people = tons of bikes for sale!!!
