Wow! Just found this and read the whole thing. Awesome work and a killer looking bike. I love it. I've been learning a little bit about sheet metal and I know making those cone mufflers would be a pain for most of us but you made it look easy. Nice!

Thank You sir! :)

I love this right here. I think your Virago is going to weigh like a hundred pounds more than stock by the time you're done :)

Thanks!
Actually i just checked how heavy it is now as i have it all stripped down. I guess it wont be that bad :D as its around 65 pounds lighter than the stock Virago at the moment. Will add some weight with fenders and lights but not that much really :).
8)

and here are some changes to that head light i made the other day.

finished with yellow metal(same as the cone pipes one)
slowly getting there but its still work in progress though...
first stage looks kinda steam punk style ;)
img20130427002314.jpg

but i prefer it niceely cleaned and well polished ;)

and the front fender is finally ready :D

good night...

this bike is awesome. you are very talented indeed sir.
one other thing i would like to say, i love how you can almost tell where someone is from (general idea at least) by the work space they have. i knew before even reading the text just by looking at your work table you were not located in america. i actually prefer how non americans do it. (build bikes/cars) always seems to be more craftsmanship involved. see more metal being shaped and filed by hand, and no tool boxes, i never see tool boxes, tools are always nicely sorted on the wall.... love it.
