Take this very very humble noob opinion with a grain of salt. I like the lines of the seat until the "finned tail" (which I realize is what sets it apart) on the end. I think it would be super bad ass if it was flat on the back and ended roughly 3.5-5 inches before it does now. Mount a recessed tailight and turn signals in the flattened side and it would look amazing (and be something I would be very interested in buying for my own bike).
Again though, congrats on the high quality work and it does look very nice on your bike.

Thanks jojah. All input is welcome. It's my friend's RD, and he really just did a quicky paint to get it together.
As for mods, the one you are talking about turns it into one of the 100's out there that look just like that. I like things that are a bit different. This seat will definately get attention. (and not the bad kind...LOL)
Good for you for goin after things, but if you're taking the time to make molds for each one I would put a little bit more time into the bodywork beforehand. It could just be the pictures, but the radius's look a lil' lumpy, and it looks like some things might be outta square. Every flaw comes through to every other part thereafter so it's always good to spend way more time on plugs than you think you should!

And my parts are measured out in the master plug, and then are molded to the final shape by "mostly" eye. So they are like the parts of "olden day", and are not "perfect". The finish will come out like glass if you like, but there is a "bit" of the custom "look" of my parts. I think it adds some "character"..........
