Shock mount

Looking to put some Progressive 412 shocks on my cb350f but with them being eye mounts and Honda having the lower clevis mount, some modification is in order. I was thinking of welding a new mount but I found this today and wanted to know if anyone has tried this approach.

If I'm not mistaken progressive makes and eye to eye and a eye to clevis style so you shouldn't have to mod your swing arm much if you can find the eye to clevis ones.

I am looking to buy used to save $$$ and those are hard to come by

I'm having the same problem as you, you can buy/fab something like this kit (second one top to bottom):

I'll be going that route, but instead of buying them a machinist buddy of mine will make the kit on a lathe.

Just realized I didn't include that link but that is exactly what I was receding to.
