I know there is the Garage Journal out there. I would like to see and share with everyone our other living spaces:

In the back there, I screwed some old coffee cans to the wall for holding screw drivers, clamps and other odds and ends.

Just did some organizing in mine.

I love the fire axes... nice touch!

Thanks. Cant buy axes like them at Home Depot. The red one with the hickory handle up top is 60 years old, brand new, hand painted. Just like our old bikes they have character....and are bad ass!

Garage Rat- I am the same as you. Alot of other crap outside on the side of the house. Good stuff is inside.

;D

Yeah, No kidding. I have three more in the house too. ???

My wife just shakes her head at me.

haha im with you trek my garage was cut in half and turned into a master bedroom, so i have less than a single car garage. its just big enough for a cb360. but thats about it. the floor of my garage is the biggest shelf i have!

My summer-shop is the sidewalk infront of my house, my winter-shop is my open back porch. One day, I too shall have a garage.

When I went from renting to buying a house. The house must have had a garage. A single at very least but a double is ideal.

Eventually I want an attached 3 car garage for parking and a stand alone work shop.

I should have pics soon. I'm planning my shop build within the next few weeks.

I like the height of your blast cabinet. I am 6' and I have to crouch a bit when using mine. Been thinking about raising it up on blocks.

Another question.......what the heck is stacked in the cornor with the drill press on top?

Just bought a house with a one car garage and was hoping to convert it to a workshop. Just wondering if building work benches is the way to go or just getting the prefab ones. Pros/cons?

If you have the ability, build your own. 2x4's and plywood are cheap, and you can "customize" it to fit your needs. ie. length, width, and/or height.
