Hey Larry, I didn't know you were a member over here! Man I still love that XL... you should really stick a thread up here of those gorgeous paint jobs you do if you haven't already, I'm sure the guys here will really appreciate the work you do :D

Hey, Pete. Yeah, I frequent all the "cool sites". I've posted a ton of pics for the CB550F that I have. Always nice to see opened minded people that appreciate different styles and techniques. I can get away with posting pictures of this, too...1977 Goldwing

The GL should too, both nice bikes. love the blacked out GL engine, lot of work to do that. I am still putting my big girl back together, spending hours polishing covers etc. I should have painted them.

I had that 'wing down to every nut and bolt, Maritime. The engine paint was indeed very involved. A sh-t load of sanding.. :p I'd wanted to almost completely de-chrome that thing from the very start.

Hey nvr2old I recognize the GoldWing from NGWClub... nice to see you over here too, BUT, I didn't know you had a Cooley!
SWEEEEEET!
So do I know you from the GSResources as well?

*EDIT* I just read your sig... I'm a dumbass ::)

Your work always amazes me Larry, always such quality, love the wing and the Cooley! Just wish there was some chance of me seeing it in person one day... oh well, never know what the future brings right? :)

Hahaha nice one HD, Larry's one of the guys who gave me such excellent advice on painting my 450 and without guys like him it'd look rather like crap...

It was cool to see both you guys on this site, too. It's a beauty. Some extremely nice bikes and projects going on around here.

Pete-I'm painting 3 bikes for a guy in Australia right now. He's a Suzuki freak, too. I would LOVE to come over there some day. Always wanted to see "the other side of the world". The whole classic bike thing seems to be on fire there these days.

Yeah true, there are many good builds on here for sure! It's a lot busier than the GSR so I miss a lot, but definitely good to be over here :)

I recall seeing one of the Aussie guys looking for some stuff to be shipped to you, figured he was getting some paint done... lucky sod being able to get you to do his paint :D

And yeah, classic bikes definitely have become quite popular. Between the Island Classic in January, the Barry Sheene Festival of Speed, and the Honda Broadford Bike Bonanza there is definitely lots of classic action going on, although unfortunately they all happen well over 1000km's south from me so I haven't had the pleasure of attending any just yet, but I hope to change that one day.
