Show me your DIY headlight ears.

Hey I searched around some and couldn't really find anything but I know they are out there. I am looking to build some headlight ears and wanna see what some of you gents have come up with.

Hey,

I am going to try to make some out of ~16ga sheet metal.

I built a $10 sheet metal break similar to this one:

I am going to cut out flat steel using a pattern I made.
I am going to bend the "ear" and a small piece at the other end to 90*
Then using a piece of scrap pipe I'm going to bend the strap into a roughly circle shape.

Hopefully that make sense... I'll post pictures in a year or two when I actually get around to building them...

Last year I made ears for my MB5 and SFV650, here are a couple of pics.

SFV650, top one is the rough cut and the bottom finished and sanded to a brushed finish. Made out of a sheet of aluminum.

MB5, made out of sheet of steel and the fork clamps are BMX seat post clamps.
