I figured since we have this section of the forum now, it would only be natural to have a thread devoted to our cars. It should be interesting seeing who has what cars and how they relate to our choice of motorcycles!

Me... I stick with Honda through and through.

This is my 94 Honda Prelude... I love this car, it's my daily driver and my toy on the weekends. I am a member of the SCCA (auto-x) Bucaneer region here in North East Florida.

I'm a bit of a euro car whore so I'll give you the line up from the last 2-2.5 years:

Current:

2001 Saab 9-5 Aero

Previous in order:

1990 Volvo 740 turbo (heavily rebuilt and modded)

1999 BMW 528i (lightly modded)

1984 Volvo 240 wagon, started life as this:

1995 Volvo 850 turbo (heavily boosted 275ft/lbs ;D)

And my first love:

rebuilt from top to bottom while going through school as an auto tech, there was a bolt left un turned and she was a blast...

I traded the wifes regular cab Ford F-150 for our family truckster....an 86' BMW 325es.

Myself, I have always been a mopar fan...but I am having a tough time resisting the allure of a german car. This thing is a blast to drive and just feels so solid.....even being 20 some-odd years old.....It's got me thinking about getting one for myself to mod. because everytime I mention something to her about it.....I get that look that only married guys know.

Sure does, an Rb20DET right now. If i keep it, i'm leaning towards an LS1, it'll sit behind the strut towers, weighs almost 300lbs less and will drastically improve the handling of the car.

But then again, I never drive it, it just sits and collects dust. When it's warmer i'll get a more current picture. It's drastically different than the picture above.

As it sits mods are(if i remeber them all):

Tomei 1.8mm headgasket
Arp Head studs
444cc injectors
to4e/s hybrid turbo
front facing intake plenum
ducted mid-mount intercooler system
atmospheric wastegate
recirc'd turbosmart BOV
shimmed stock LSD (shimmed with 1.5mm shim, acts like it's locked)
Stance GR+ Pro coilovers
Custom exhaust
Origin Body Kit
Gtr Seats
Upgraded fuel pump
Tuned Ecu by use of eprom programmer
Fully Adjusted 4-link rear suspension.

Without decent wheels at the moment, looking for something in the 17x9+15 and 18x10+20 to 25 region.

I'm probably missing more stuff.

Uniac and Valvesprung, you guys both have some sweet rides.

I love the Volvo wagons, specially that 240 it's super clean!
What all did you have done to the 240 and 740? I have a friend with a clean GREEN 740 (same year I think).

Love the Cefiro too! Are you in the states or Canada Uniac? Very very cool. I have a few friends down here in Florida with some RHD cars (R32, R33 and some Toyota Soarers)

Thanks man! I have a sweet spot for the Swedes, especially in wagon form...really wish I'd waited to find the SAAB in a wagon...

The 245 was just slow, low, and bloody noisy...it got looks everywhere I went ;D I even caught a bum gawking while begging at a highway entrance I really do miss that one, it was a polished turd, but I loved rocking it around.

The 740 was pretty well refreshed from top to bottom. I had done all seals, belts, w/p, etc. It had:
-Custom springs & Bilsteins
-HID's
-iPd sway bars
-Uber rare foam deck lid spoiler
-17" S60 T5 wheels with 35 and 42mm adapters
-Custom intake
-High flow cat & 2.5" mandrel bent cat-back exhaust
-Greddy Profec-B electronic boost controller
Probably a bunch of other crap I can think of...had I been willing to take the time and do a 5-spd swap I probably wouldn't have sold it, I just couldn't justfy pouring any more coin into an 18 y/o car that would never gain value...

Very cool indeed. My friend has very similar mods done to his... some custom springs (some Swede brand), Bilsteins, iPD rear sway, the FOAM decklid spoiler (hasnt put it on yet), huge Volvo intercooler (out of a Volvo cargo truck), custom hard piping, 3" straight pipe exhaust etc etc. very clean Volvo, he just recently threw on some black BBS mesh wheels. Oh! And it's a manual (stock Volvo trans) with the electronic 5th gear! I have a few friends who are really into the BRICKS!

I'll post up some pics of my new to me white with red leather 1989 Mercedes 300E(212,000 K mi.). 8)

It's pretty much stock right now and my daily driver,but I'd like to do some mods on it next year such as bigger rims,wider tires,clear head & tail lights,lowering springs,H.D. shocks etc..

There are some Killer looking MB on the net and I'm loving the quality feel and ride on mine right now.

My best friends family have always had Mercedes and I've wanted one for many,many years and FINALLY have one!

I am a mustang guy. I have had at least one in the driveway since '99.

right now I have one of my favorites. A 86 SVO 2.3 turbo 5spd. Factory 5 lug and adjustable koni's at all 4 corners. only 38k when i picked her up. you can see it in the background in this pic.
