Also have a Mossberg 500a with a cantilever scope mount 18" slug barrel and standard 26" smooth bore but no pics of that

Great thread idea! I'm an obsessive collector when it comes to my interests, for awhile I was really into collecting guns, mainly AK's. Now I'm back to obsessing over vintage jap bikes lol. Here's some shots of my babies...

Edit to note all guns pictured are semi auto and compliant with U.S. regulations on such weapons. In other words, they're all legal.

Wow, it seems you guys have a different gun and knife for each day of the week. "Today I wil use this assualt rifle with armor piercing bullets and if the bastard gets up I will finish him by stabbing him to death..." No but in all seriousness, hope these guns and knife are kept away from children at all times :)

Most of my knives/guns stay locked in a safe, slowly accumulating value. It's no different than any other hobby in that you can't expect someone who isn't interested to understand the motivation involved. Some of my knives and guns are worth several hundred dollars or more and I could see how someone who isn't into them could say 'why would you spend all that time and money collecting all that shit?' much like those who say 'why would you spend all that time and money modifying an old motorcycle?'.

I knew you guys wouldn't let me down....... great bunch of weapons. And for you anti-gun boys...... where are ya'...... only one brave enough to stand up ???? As for kids...... I told my son when he was small that guns were only for killing...... if you weren't killin' or practicin' you didn't need a gun. Then I took a few apart, showed him how they worked...... and took him shooting a few times, as did the Boy Scouts. I always kept the ammo locked up seperate from the guns. He never offered to bother any guns or ammo without my supervision. Most of us who have kids and guns do the same thing. I had my first firearm at the age of 11.........

Fuck you! At least quote all of what I posted!

I quoted you before you edited, dumbass.

So you don't live in the US, so what?

@ dewjantim: Same with me. I learned to shoot very young and was taught to have a very healthy respect for firearms.

I dont live in the USA so obvioulsy I am a dumbass according to you.

Well, just for you.....The USA is not the centre of the universe.

It does not make you better than me me, smarter than me nor any more entitled to an opinion.

I didn't say you were a dumbass because you don't live in the US. I said you were a dumbass because you seem ignorant. I also made no mention of my being better, smarter or any more entitled to an opinion.

I know the US isn't the center of the universe, I've even lived outside it. Before you start spouting 'arrogant-american' vitriol, perhaps you should take a step back and decide what it is you're against. Is it gun ownership, knives, US laws, or just the USA in general?

Take it out back guys.

There have been threads with pics of guns and knives before, and there will undoubtedly be threads about them again. We have threads with girls on motorcycles in various states of undress, discussions about politics and religion...

They're legal, people collect them, and sure, they don't have much to do with motorcycles, but at least now I know who's bikes not to steal.

Politics aside, careful and responsible gun ownership seldom result in injury or death. Just like anything else that is inherently dangerous, carelessness, neglect and irresponsible or malicious practices are the real problem.

In my former Career I was a Designated Marksman in the Army, and a Competition shooter, so firearms were a large part of my livelyhood. After I was retired out for wounds received, I was an Armorer and Training Officer for a Federal Agency. Here are a few of mine.

First up is the Custom AR-15 I built this year from blank upper and lower receivers.
