In a lot of ways it looks like a blend of a Ducati GT750 and the new Sport 1000. A lot of that has to do with the V-twin, but the inverted forks, Brembo brakes and other styling cues are also fairly similar.

Yep.. that bike is an "American Cafe Racer" bike.

Mike used to work at WEst Coast Choppers.

That's the SuperManx. They used to have www.americancaferacer.com but it looks to be dead now, which is sad because it was a cool site with a ton of good shots of the bike. I've got a magazine with a review of it from a few years back... Cycle World or some such. That one's got all hand formed aluminum tins, but they were planning a short production run that would have all rotomolded (dirtbike) parts. He apparantly split from West Coast to take on this project but I guess it never came to be.

The second one looks like a Zero Engineering bike... all their stuff is mind bendingly cool. I got their book a while back for christmas, and Cole Foster even talks about them with great respect in one of the Mad Fabricators DVDs.
