BITD, call it '87, I had my stick bungeed to the left side my trusty 81 Kz440LTD, with the tail butted to the passenger footpeg. Of course, no pictures exist. I got a few thumbs up here and there, but I also remember the board shifting and almost falling off a few times.

MS sucks. It is a bad way to go. My wife's sister died from it, she was only 43 years old.
Also, if you buy an Evo Sporty and want to beat on it hard dumping the clutch, make sure you get a five-speed. Many people don't know it but the Evo four-speed sportys have much more trouble-prone gearbox and primary drive. The gearbox is weaker and the alternators can break under abuse and take a whole lot of other parts out with them.....
That said, if you can score a four-speed evo sporty cheap and maintain it well, it can give years of service doing anything but burnouts and drag-racing. I have a 87' 1100 someone could have if they want it for around 3.5K....
