I have a cb200 (same as cl175) and scrambler pipes (coming in the mail this week). If you take some pics of your frame with clearances (ruler in the pic), we can check it out.
I'm looking at an SL too. Another point I noticed is that the brackets for the swingarm pivot is welded on the SL vs bolted on brackets for the CB. SL is mostly tube while the CL is mostly stamped. I like the SL better. It might be easier to weld on rearset brackets too.
The kickstand bracket is welded on vs being on the footpeg bracket. The swingarm might be longer as the wheelbase is 2" longer than the CL or CB.
I read that the first 3 gears are shorter. I'll have to check the sprocket sizes for comparison.
The motor I read is 1 hp down from the CL/CB (19 vs 20) at 500 rpm lower. Not much at all. It's probably a different cam. I think the piston is the same (9:1) and the carbs are the same (20mm). I'll need to research more.
Anyone figure out if the CL pipes fit the SL frame? I thought I read someone had to bend them slightly to clear the down tubes.
