SL350 chop

Gonna try to buy as little as possible on this, and actually see it through!

Right now the parts are a unknown frame that's been gathering dust, 71 sl350 engine, 79 cm400 fork set and front brake, 78 hawk wheel set and some custom shorty clip ons. Lmk what you think, I'll do my best to keep this updated!!

Clip ons on a stretched rigid? That's different...

Looks like you have enough room to run a BIG Mustang type tank, like a 4.75 gallon Paughco FX version big... But you would need a lot higher bars for clearance.

It's actually relatively comfortable as mocked up right now, I may try a set of superbike bars out to get them a bit higher.

I think I want to run a narrowed Honda tank... Just set a couple on to decide

Definitely the 550 tank. Just looks like it sits the frame better than the 350 tank.

I personally prefer the CL tank, you'd just need to raise the ass end of it.

very nice build cant wait to see some more progress pics , im debating on wether to build a bobber/chopper or a cafe next , i see pics of sick cafe's and am like ohhh i want that then i see bobber builds and am like nope want a bobber
