need a battery for my 350f and not sure if i can fit it in my hump. i really don't want to spend 160 on the speedcell, but i don't know how many cca's i need. any suggestions

Starter draw is going to be around 60amps when you first hit button then level off around 30amps actual draw.
As long as battery will provide more than 60amps without exploding it will work ( but maybe not for long? ::))
I have a list of CCA for various batteries, just don't have it handy.

You'd probably be fine running a 6Ah battery. My GS850 is currently running a 9Ah with no problems. My RS125 ran a 3Ah with no problems, and both are electric start.

I'd say you may be able to get slightly smaller than a 6Ah, but it's probably not worth it. Go with the 6Ah and see how you go.

also have to remember, the lower the ah rating, the shorter amount of time you have to get home if your charging system fails... im going to be running 2 6 volt 9ah sla, from what ive tested the 9ah wont be an issue with the starter but again its still putting some stress on the battery and almost certianly shortining its life span
