Its a big open field that they use for outdoor shows and festivals. Its between cook's corner and Irvine Lake, up El Toro past the turn off for cook's corner.
I ride a gs550 that's an ongoing project. Started a build thread in cafe section. I just found Santiago yesterday which led me to a biker bar haha. Cooks corner I'm sure you already know. All I saw was old people and stock harleys. Not my scene.
I'll check out Ortega.
Where/what do you ride?
Oh no way! GS550's are dear to my heart! lol. It was the first street sport bike I ever rode! Back in 87 I think. lol.
Yeah you found 'Kooks' Corner. I hate that place. Well most of the time....it's mostly sport bikes on Tuesday nights though...but I'm not a big fan of that scene either. We need a cafe\vintage night!
I'm currently riding a 77 CB750....it's my project bike as well....though being short on $$$ makes it more of a dust collector right now. But we got some guys here in OC that like to meet up and ride from time to time. I'll add you my buddy's list and give you a ring or if you're on Facebook we created a little side group where we do most of our talking.
any of you guys go to that burger joint on Beach Blvd? i think its one of the saturdays of the month. drove by one time and saw a few older bikes. if i can get my kz650 tuned ill be down for a ride. im in costa mesa. make sure to check out the member map
