Keeping the fun in Funyuns.
AAA usually helps me with everything else I need too, but for my bike during this process, they said to create a file pretty much of a new bike, has to be done at the DMV. I've done VIN verification through head offices of AAA before, but it was on a 1953 vehicle which was currently registered out of state. I think AAA can help for the most part, as long as it's currently registered, or at least already in the process, but first things first if there's no title at all, no paperwork at all, you will need to start at the DMV. If you find out otherwise though, please let us know! I've got 2.5 other bikes I'm currently putting together which I could definitely use that process, which would save a ton of time at the DMV.
All in one visit, I think the only hold up may be the VIN verification. I wonder if you can get the bike VIN verified without needing it requested by the DMV. On the "new title" application form maybe?
