Nice! Only thing I'd think you might want is a fork brace, without the front fender in place to lock the lowers together. Not sure how much of an issue that is on a modern Triumph suspension, but fundamentals are the same and you don't want the suspension tweaking at the front axle in a corner, which will happen unless the fork lowers are tied together with a brace.

Listen to Swivel. He quite possibly may be the smartest man in the world of motorcycling. And, when he calls you out... Whew doggy. Just look past the fact that at NO TIME has he felt the urge to grace us with any pics/info/etc regarding a bike that HE has personlly built. Just stories... Lots of stories, and opinions... :p

Swivel is right on the money with the issues he raised about handling and clearance.

I'd start by pushing the forks back down where they belong and fit a fork brace, then I'd get slightly longer shocks to raise the rear end to get geometry back on track.

On the styling front, it all comes down to personal preference. That bike already has a sort of street tracker/TT style, so I'd replace the seat with one that matches the look on the rest of the bike. I wouldn't fit clipons or low bars - they don't match the general style of the bike.

Nice bike though.

Kool bike man great starting point

And swivel thank you for pointing out our mistakes as hack motorcycle builders your, dare i say a hero. Like christ sent to world to walk amonst us pointing out our sins and short commings. You gental saint teach me to fish, swivel im ready to surrender haha ::)

Sorry to continue to pull this thread off track, but I actually appreciate Swivel's comments. I don't really know him from Adam, but his comments aren't completely off the wall and so I'm wiling to bet he at least knows a little bit.

While it's always nice to have compliments on something you've done, you don't tend to learn a lot from those sorts of things. Differing opinions is where the real opportunities for learning arise and I hope this site continues to have differing opinions for a long time to come. I'm here to look at eye candy just like anyone else, but I'd like to learn a thing or two while I'm at it.

I seem to follow his posts a lot, he's a very wise man. I'll be a member of this congregation

Most of these business practices have worked for the Popes for 2K years.I like the idea of tax-free status a little.

"The church of the not too low clipon" A tiny clipon on a chain makes as much sense as a slow torture execution device hanging around your neck.(the Roman/Christian cross).

Just read all of this thread and my reaction is this, Swivel=loud mouth know-it-all. The fork issue was brought up previous to your original post, so what you have contributed to this thread is nothing but a bunch of critical crap that is useless. This bike looks, rides and handles great (yes, I've ridden it). If you have issues with the setup try stating them in a respectful manner instead of being a prick about it. I agree with Sonrier, that this is a nice place to exchange ideas and opinions, but there still should be an air of respect.
