Some help please!!

Hey guys,

I would like a bit help identifying these front lower forks legs that came with my newly purchased (and very second hand)
Yamaha 1982 DT 175 Cafe racer to be project!!

As far as i can tell these are not Std forks for this model as the other 4 DT's i have dont look like this ...so here they are if you can shed some light on the make, model and year that would be great!!

It would be nice to know when i start trying to get new seals, springs etc if knew what bike/year they came off

Try posting in the "1-800-cafe help" section. Youre likely to get more replies there.

SOME seals have the part number molded into the top of them, if you can find the number you can do a reverse part check via that number. It should tell you what bikes that seal belongs to and that would give you an idea.

Thanks for your input guy's ...so if there good old fashion "Yamaha forks" can we nail it a bit closer TT, XT, MX bike etc... i will do yet another net search

yet when i asked the Yamaha guy at the shop he said they werent yamy forks???

It wouldn't be the first time ive been told the wrong thing by people who get paid to know the right answers LoL ;D
