HAD to get something a bit more modern to add to the stable... I'm itching to get out on the highway this year and do some touring...

AND I still have my vintage bikes for cruising around town...

Nice bike, I have a couple Hinkley Triumphs....I may be a bit biased. HA!

You know...the Speed kinda IS a modern interpretation of a cafe bike.......
 
Looked at one last year. I really like this bike, but of course the wife said no! How do you like the bike. Good power and handling?
 
Thanks guys.... I've only had it out on the street for 3 days now, and not out of 4th gear yet, but so far, I LOVE IT! power, handling, braking, everything is top shelf!

So far, i think I might head down for a long weekend to northern Arkansas in early may for some nice mountain road riding/twisties....

And thinking about riding it out to Northern Colorado for Memorial Day...

I actually find the riding position quite comfortable and easy on the wrists so far, the seat could use a little more padding, but its way easier on the wedding tackle than leaning forward for the clubmans on the cafe... As for touring... everyone keeps asking about wether or not i'm gonna get a windshield... NO.. I'm not. I've never really ridden a bike with a good windshield or fairing, and don't mind the wind.
 
the little fairing thing looks like a weird retro stewardess hat though... maybe you could get a thruxton fairing for it?
 
Very nice and looks comfortable for longer trips. In my mind modern vs. old for touring is a catch-22. With an old bike, things can go wrong but they're easy to fix at the side of the road when they do. With a new bike, its less likely that something will fail, but when it does, you may be SOL.
 
What's wrong with Ninjas? ??? I had one and it was awesome. Full Muzzy race exhaust, jet kit, dyno tuned to 136.8 hp at the wheel.
