Hey Michigander's!! Im new to the forum. I love this site!!! Anyway, im from Brighton, MI and im in the middle of building my '71 CB350. I "WILL" have it done this spring!! HA! I was wondering if any of you guys get together for a ride? Ive been to the cafe in yipsi and its great. nice people. all kinds of people. I do plan on going to a few events this summer but, I was just wondering if theres anything else out there? A good road or somewhere cool to go. Thanks! Hope to see some more cool bikes out there!!

Hey, welcome! I'm up in Lake Orion. Hoping to have my bike back together for Spring. I haven't made it down to Ypsi yet, but I'd like to.

going down to yipsi would be a decent ride for you. I know they will have a big shin dig probably in June. I didnt make it down there this past summer. but the pics looked good. I didnt want to show up on my Harley. HA! The Battle of the Brits is always a great show. But thats not until the second week in september. I just cant wait to ride!!!!!! Im going crazy!!!!!!

Kris here in Lansing!
Check out stockbridge, Mi. They have events all year round. The ride in form lansing is sweet. Not sure about coming form the east side though.
Im planning on a few trips to Ypsi. Havent been there yet. I sold my cafe, bu im building another one. Doubtful it will be done by summer. Ill probly be on my CB1100 ;D

I'm in Dexter.

My favorite ride during the summer is from Pinckney to Hell (Patterson Lake Rd) Check it out. Plenty of good roads around here.

Stockbridge events begin May 1st, gather up at 10:00am and ride around the area. I'm trying to gather up some of my Kawasaki Versys owners for that ride, if they don't show up I'll ride my Dunstall/Norton ;)

I was at stockbridge all clubs day last year. And i think i Seen your Dunstall Norton there. LOVED it. Ill be around a lot more this summer. Cant wait.

Hey all, I just moved to GR from New York to go to school here. I'm picking up my '74 CB200 tomorrow and starting my first project! Glad to see there's some fellow enthusiasts like myself. Hopefully we can help each other out.

Hi Fretless,
I'm in GR too....where do you go to school? AQ, Calvin, Grand Valley?? I'm usually out and about on nice days with a 125s while the 350 is in the shop. Let me know how the build is coming along so we can ride! Also, was the CB200 around 400 bucks with a grey tank? If it was, I think I may have been itching to buy the same one, but you beat me to it! Haha, oh well! Good luck the build!

I actually got my CB200 from someone out in Zeeland, but I had been talking to a couple of people on Craigslist about picking up a bike from them.
I'm at Cooley right now and in the midst of finals, but I usually try to dedicate two hours to working on the bike, I really don't want to waste this summer and nice weather that's coming up. I managed to finally get the whole bike stripped down to the frame last night, now all I need to do is strip the frame and wait on a new cylinder to be shipped...and then about a thousand other things before it's actually road worthy. I'm trying to get this thing done ASAP, I'm really itching to ride.
