You gotta get it how ya live
Waddap y'all, I've been lurking these forums using the info for a bit now. Decided it might be time to learn more and contribute. I ride a Suzy gr650, the Tempter! Shes my first bike. Look forward to gettin all up in DTT.

kindly,

Hope all is well over there in Calgary - From Ontario here.... been thinking about everyone down there and hoping for a quick turn around to the devastation. Got any build plans for the "Tempter"?

Yeah! We've got one more now for sure. Things are getting better in calgary, the Stampede had no problems kicking off despite the floods.

I'd love to build it into a Cafe racer eventually, but for now just learning the ins and outs of the bike itself, so far all i've done is swap out the handle bars. Although a new speedo and light cluster is in the works.

Hey I am from Sundre. I have a tempter I am turning into a bobber. Started it three years ago. Lol. Then got married and moved. So I had to build a garage before I could work on the bike again.

Im in Edmonton... Not too many around these parts either.

It would be cool if there was an Alberta part of the forum...

Another member from Calgary here! I hope everyone is keeping warm...

This cold snowy weather is hampering my build progress :(

For a minute there I thought we were talking about the Flames, (bad joke) but in all seriousness I am a Flames fan and hated up hear about the floods.

I live in Drumheller the ditch or Valley of Dry bones. I just purchased a '83 Suzuki GR 650 off Kijiji unfortunetly it's way up in St. Paul 8 hour round trip.

He!!, I'm in Georgia, and I too am tired of the cold.................I'm originally from Delaware, still not Canada, but I don't miss the cold from there either.

Crazy............................

yeah... It's getting a bit old for sure. We've got sunny warm +11C temps here today, but back to "normal" tomorrow (-13C). Uggh. I need to move south. This is bawls.

I ride my dirt bike all year around, with studded tires and grip heaters. 8)

Most guys in Calgary don't winterize their street bikes because we get Chinooks through-out the winter which will give a day or 2 of +15C weather and if you're careful you can get out for a rip to blow the cobwebs out! :) This winter we've had record snowfall which has been brutal.

I'm born and in Calgary as well. Building a couple bikes right now.

There is a face book calgary cafe racer club. I'm not in it but could be worth checking it out this year.
