Are you planning on riding the bike on the street? If so, that rear tire is entirely too aggressive and dangerous.

Look into some mild street/trail rubber (I like the Shinko 705s, very affordable).

thank you for the response, i plan to use it as a daily commuter. Would you say all type of motocross tires would be unsafe for daily commute. this is the look i really wanted? or might settle for this. just prefer the other look.

I 'think' the rear tire is a Maxxis MAXXCROSS DESERT IT. The front tire is hard to tell, could be a Shinko 244 series?

As VonYinzer said, I also wouldn't like to ride it in the wet with that tire combo on the road! I run Bridgestone Battlax BT45 and/or Dunlop D404 for year round commuting. Had a set of Shinko 270s on it for a while didn't like them at higher speeds commuting in all weather, they do look awesome on the SR though!

Nobody can tell what tires you're running when the bike is moving... ;)

If it's a daily commuter (do you live in an urban environment?) you want a good street tire made for asphalt/concrete and that's capable of handling wet roads. Motocross and aggressive dual sport rubber isn't the best choice.

thank you for the replies, I will go ahead with the second option. Seems like it a safer and more comfortable ride.
Anybody know of any places where in montreal, quebec where I can get the work done? im looking to do a restoration on the bike. I would like to powder coat the frame and parts which can be powder coated, restore the wheels, paint thank. get the loop around the pillion seat area. Get a miniature battery to clean up the area where the battery sits right now. I would love to do the work myself but I don't think I have the know how to do so. Also if anybody know how much would a project like that cost me.
thank you
