Thank for the kind words guys, and the criticism.....but: The bike was build for my son with his input on how HE wanted it to look. It looks right when he says it looks right. We are well aware of the limitations and advantages of various parts and set ups. I carefully weighed each option and idea for function vs aesthetics and each part is made with these in mind.
The whole inner fender/side panel issue is moot as the bike will not be ridden in the rain (on purpose) It's not a long haul bike, but a fun, quick handling, quick revving (hence the short pipe) back road burner/urban assault weapon, just like we designed it to be. No more, no less. And I must say, after putting a couple of hundred KMs on it the past 2 days I'd say we hit the nail right on the head.
I'm super stoked and proud of what we built here and he's going to be 100% happy with it as well.
