SR500 project finished

Been Around the Block
finally finished the little bugger this week. Still a few minor things to do like touch up the frame and modify the seat cushion so it fits the tank better, but for the most part it's done and i'm happy with it. I took a shot at the 50's look with a Norton Manx as the inspiration bike but with mag wheels, a seat cowl that would fit the funky rear frame and a tank of the wrong shape, you do what you can do. So here's a before and after shot. Any questions or comments are welcome.

I also need to work on polishing the tank a lot more, but steel is a SOB to do. A couple more pics.

Looks fine to me,especially considering that type of Yamaha(XS,SR,Secas,Maxims etc.) are hard to work with without a lot of mods due to their non-horizontal lines.
