This is an interesting concept... I likey.. but.. it is flawed..
what if a member of the forum, after failing to read this thread, bids and wins an item that was otherwise dibbed on by a poster on this thread?
Or... what if a poster of this thread bids on an item otherwise claimed by another, yet we do not know their eGay username, and hence, providing them with ultimate deniablilty..?
Is there a code of honour? I imagine rightfully so.. but is there a means by which to enforce it...? Difficult... we shall rely on Karma to do the job ;D
 
8) good rule. Seeing this may even help restore my faith in ebay. Seems im always getting outbid in the last year or so at the last minute!
 
yeah.. this whole idea was great back when we were only 1000 members..
but now with 10000+ members and a huge amount of lurkers, its kinda difficult if not impossible to put inot practice...

This old thread is just a testament of how we used to be and think back in the day...

Hey, that's customs baby ;) it's getting tough to find parts for some of these old girls.. and then there's the treasure.... it's the quick and the dead mate ;) At least these days it is LOL. But it's nice that some still live in hope though, give them something to hold on to LOL ;D
