Oh, DEFINITELY Star Trek. Because a TIE fighter trike would just be silly.

I used to be on a video game forum years ago. One day a thread with this very title popped up. I thinks "huh, this could be interesting..." 100 pages later they were still arguing over which is better. That was the last time I was on that site 7 years ago.

Apples to oranges my friend. A single wookie would mangle an army of tribbles, but Kirk made time with a score of hot aliens while Luke was kissing his sister. I wouldn't even dare to compare Spock to Han Solo in a sidekick battle.

Bruce Lee kicks Chuck's ass!

You honestly believe this? I am not biased in any way because I don't give a shit but Chuck Norris was a professional fighter who won championships. Bruce Lee was an actor. They were friends and they never "went there." Do we honestly think it was because Chuck Norris- who by definition of a champion professional fighter, always took on the best of the best- was the one who was apprehensive or Bruce Lee, who had the image to protect? You don't become a champion by saying, "I'm not going to fight this guy who might be better than me."

After a little more thought I think e-woks are the best equivalent to tribbles, which makes me think a match point system could be devised by pairing the closest individual equivalents from the two franchises. You might have to limit the criteria to the early works though.

As stated.
Kirk v. Luke - +1 Trek
ewoks v. tribbles - +1 Wars

Harder to place.
Spock v. Han Solo
Uhura v. Leia

Uncertain Equvalents.
Wookies v. Klingons ?
Borg v. The Dark Side ?
R2D2 & C3P0 v. Scotty & Bones

And I'm not well versed enough in Star Trek to find a match for Vadar or The Death Star. This might prove rather complex after all.
