Start of CB450twin build

Dupli-color clear acrylic lacquer to answer "goodfornothing" question.
I have mocked up my seat and I am looking for critique. I think the lines are not matching(something off). Sort of like the ass end is going down hill. I am not able to lower the front, and worried about raising the back to see more frame.
Any suggestions?

Hey! Bike is looking great! Silver always looks good. Did you do anything to the carbs to allow for the pods? IF so what?

Installed twin tail lights that will work as running lights and stop light.

To answer the question of carb mods, I did not change any thing due to the over rich stock setup. It is very close for my altitude as is. Then again I am at 6700' here in Colorado. The headers wide open as well with just turnouts.

Here is a mock up with the tail light installed, but will be coming off to paint homemade brackets. I think the brackets will be the body color to blend or black. If I go black the lights will show more from the sides.

Not much progress other than installing all the mocked up parts( seat, lights, and so on). Ran into an issue with the carbs/ignition and have been stumped for days.
I posted on the help section and am getting advice.
Will update when more is done.

Hey man,

My two cents is that the seat is wrong, sorry. The bubble looks too long for the bike, it needs a more abrupt drop, a shorter bubble. I know that is not what you want to hear and it is only my opinion.

If you agree, two choices; change the tank to match the seat or the cheaper option, sell the seat on ebay and get a different seat. I have a couple in mind I'll forward links to you if you like.

Go ahead and show me the options. I am always looking to make things better. Do you think I could cut the seat back about 4" to get the right look? That is what I was thinking!
