Steel City Mods vs Rockers - August 13, 2011 in Bloomfield!

August 13, 2011 will bring the Second Annual Steel City Mods vs Rockers to the streets of Bloomfield as part of Liberty Avenue is closed from 12-5pm so we can take it over. Vintage scooters, motorcycles, vendors, live music, motorcycle and scooter contests and a Pin-up Girl contest too!

Already reserved a vendor spot. Jim from Alchemy Upholstery has a spot again this year. Was a good time last year, this one should be even bigger and better.
 
Yup, gonna be there with my bike, then later I have a gig right down the road at Hambones in Lawrenceville. My buddies' band, The Rustbelt Homewreckers is throwing a CD release party, and we are playing, so everybody feel free to stop down after the MVR event and have a beer with me!
 
I am pumped for this. Hopefully I'll make some headway with my CB, and my girlfriend will showing her Aprilia SR50R Factory.

According to mapquest, it's only about 1300 miles. I think I'll leave friday after work and run 200 mph and be there in time for all the fun. Ow, wait. The fastest bike I own is limited to 186. I'd really like to be there. I hope everyone has a great time. There are some disadvantages to living in the desert in the middle of the US.
 
Well, I finally have a couple extra bucks sooooo... Ill be reserving the space for the DTT tent asap. Still need the actual tent, and I have to PM Tim about the official DTT show banner. So, looks like we will certainly have a base of operations for our particular brand of lunacy. That said, PM me so we can meet up early and make a proper enterance. Would be great to see all the DTT bikes roll in at one time...
 
My office is in the Northside by the way. I was thinking I could head up early, set up the tent and whatnot than meet everyone at my building. Plenty of room for everyone to join up and ride through town to the show. Really, how killer would it be to have us all show up at once, ride to our tent and let the locals know whos doin' it right?
 
Von, I'll have the truck loaded up with misc stuff. And I'm sure Meg could get the State Farm tent if needed.......I will have the DTT West PA banner with me along with coolers, chairs, whatever else is needed.

Crap, unless I can get some other folks to ride the other GR's, the truck and trailer may just be parked in the lot.
 
Ok folks... I ponied up and paid for our tent space. I have an 8ft folding table. Just need a pop up tent, and some chairs. I figure we can chip in and buy a few cases of water to keep on ice and sell for a buck or something. We can donate the proceeds to DTT upkeep. So, if anyone has a tent (the space in 12' x 12' so the bigger the better within those limits) and a few folding chairs we can borrow, let me know please.

Also, if anyone has a particularly cool wife/GF who wants to be our spokesmodel/sales counter help that would be killer as well. Maybe rock a pin-up outfit or something?

Im going to print some small flyers directing folks to the site to hand out.

Ok folks, only a month left, so please let me know if you can help at all.
 
I'm pretty sure Nancy is going to try to put Alchemy, DEK, and DTT next to each other( not sure if Christain is getting a spot this year ). Let me see if I have a second easy-up. Alexandra, Andrea, and Nevena will be there, I'm sure one of them could help DTT

what betzy chicken out? you can count me out then.
 
No spot for me so if you guys want to use my pop-up tent that would work. All the DTT related tents will be put together.
