Hello all,

Just started getting into riding/trying to build about a year ago. Had an 81 GS450 and now a 77 CB750. Will be looking here often for help and inspiration!

Always looking for riding buddies in the SoCal area too!

Wait... maybe because I am still very new to riding and building. Why no pods? That airbox on the bike was massive!

Old 750 i had had pods put on it and it ran terrible noone rejetted for em i imagine. got a stock airbox and it was a beast. I actually think that 750's dont look bad with nice side covers and stock airbox. It's a portly motorcycle and doesn't really benifit from that gutted look imo.

That looks great. I know my bike got rejetted and everything synced when the pods got put on, but I get what you mean.

I dont even have side cover, currently looking for some but people want like $60+ for one on ebay. So no side covers as of now.

so long as it's jetted proper i don't see an issue. Most guys on here say they never run better than with the stock airbox though that's prob what rocity meant. Where are some pics for viewing pleasures

Also, here is what I am working with. Not a fan of the seat, or the majority of the set up. But I am torn if I want to go more cafe style or build for comfort so I can go on longer rides.

Since I am still learning, I won't be embarrassed to ask, why are pods bad with SOHC?
