Stock seat for a '72 CL or CB350

Looking for a stock seat in nice shape. Restoring a CL and going for the factory look, not cafe.

Have cash and a huge collection of vintage NOS skateboards to trade.

Just FYI the CB and CL seats aren't the same. CL seats are slightly longer and are designed to mate-up with the CL tank. The CB seats are shorter and more vertical in the front and will fall about 1" short of your CL tank leaving the rear tank mount exposed.

So if you are restoring a CL... you need a CL seat.

Just trying to save you the shock if you had wound up with a CB seat.

Thanks for the info! I had no idea they were different. So what do you think about this auction? Is that a CB or CL seat? It sure is an expensive gamble...

I would guess its for a CB... the front of it looks really flat/square... thats more how the CB seat mates up to the tank.

It's hard to tell though... I would ask the seller... he will probably about to tell you for sure.

not sure what your limits of nice are. I have a 72 cl seat. It has a small 1 inch tear in it and towards the bottom there some fraying email me if you are interested. I will then send you pics
