Been Around the Block
So I just moved into a new place and finally have room to finish up my project cb360 http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=19464.0 - yup, it's been awhile.
Anyway, everything is good to go except I let a fellow bike builder (not associated with this forum) use my welder in exchange for some workshop space for a few months. A couple weeks ago, I got an email that he suddenly moved to Vegas and I need to go over and retrieve the stuff I had at his shop. Everything was there, but my MIG. Fucker got a sweet, and not cheap, Hobart welder. He claims it was not him that took it and that he is going to pay for it because he feels bad, but I don't expect that payment anytime soon.
Well, I don't really feel like buying another welder anytime soon, but I have a few things left to weld on my frame. If someone in the Chicago area wouldn't mind me stopping by their place for a few hours one day to weld a couple things it would be much appreciated. I'll even bring a new spool of wire, and probably a few beers, for you. Anyway, I'm shooting for mid June sometime. By the way, I'm in Lakeview near the Irving Park / Damen / Lincoln mess of an intersection.
