Stone's CB450 project Tamara

Nice build, just read the whole thing. Makes me want to build mine, but just the cam alone would nearly double what I have in it so far. Kinda hard to call it a rat bike with several thousands of dollars in it. But her time is coming.

Yours is gonna be sweet. Keep it up.

appreciate it tweaked! Ive just been really patient and buying parts here and there when I can, I have almost all of the parts for the motor now, so that will come together soon, and there are a bunch of other misc parts I've been collecting to get the rest of the bike together so hopefully by summer!

Wow, very nice!!

machine a new center?? g0d i hate your skill. <-- compliment
lol thanks dp, remember i'm here to help too! i've learned quite a bit from the fellows here!

Looks good to me
What material are you making new center out of?
I've seen vids of aftermarket rotors where the rollers wore center real quick as the steel was too soft
Is going to be hardened?

lasercut a test piece so I can mock everything up, should be able to do that this weekend

    :eek:Those Ohlins going on the front of the 360?

Love the idea of machining up your own disc carriers to get your discs to fit your hub! I ended up simply drilling holes in my Harley hub to fit my disc carriers with a spacer to centre the carrier to the hub. Not as elegant as your solution. Beautiful work! :) :)
