Strange cb360 carb leak - Need help!

I'm currently rebuilding a bike for a friend and have hit a roadblock I've never seen before. We rebuilt the carbs and hooked them up only to have fuel start spitting out of the factory brass plugs in the picture, only on the left carb. Anyone ever seen this happen before? This was a first for me. Any fixes?

Those are vents for the bowls, if you have fuel pouring out of them you have two issues, the overflow in the bowl is clogged and your float valve is not working.

New needles and seats installed. I guess I gotta go dig in there and see what's up.

You did fit shut off valves the right way up, with new O rings and re-set float level?

Make sure the valve seat is all the way down. A lot of the carb rebuild kits have too large of an o-ring there that makes the seat pop up a bit.
