Superstitions: Green on a bike

It's OK for Kawasaki two-strokes (must be the right shade though!), British Racing Green might be alright on old pommie four-strke singles. Other than that, I wouldn't risk it!

Crazy

I don't know if it's true, but I heard it came from WWII. Being a military courier on an Army green bike was dangerous, so the superstition came out of that.

Theres no green on my bikes and none will be allowed. I don't know how it started but why take the chance?

I'd never heard about Green bikes being bad luck. But I've heard for years that you don't paint racecars Green.

no green racecars,no #13, no eating peanuts in the pits

There may be some validity. I put 3500 miles on a BRG painted Yamaha. Nothing happened to me in that time, but 2 out of 6 people that rode it besides me, dropped it...

I like to tempt fate...

Forget superstitious and a little stitious, I'm gonna be substitious. My bike's red

I never heard about this before but I believe it. I bought my cb750 that was a nasty green color and its been bad luck since I've had it.
