'80 CB750C (believe those are 35MM front tubes)
suspension is a little washy in turns and especially going into a lean (220lbs on 30 yr old springs)
best case i would replace the whole front end with an inverted set but i have virtually 0 mechanical skills when it comes to motorcycles (anyone do a replacement? any serious machining going on or is there a 'magic' fork set that can be for the most part bolted on with minor fabrication?)
that might be a winter endeavour, but for now i'm thinking of replacing the springs, whats a good choice for progressive springs? and what other pieces do i need for a rebuild? shims, wipers etc etc?
oh while i'm here also i put my clubmans on this weekend and not my throttle sticks open, throttle cable too long causing this maybe? the cables were re-oiled and the grip spins freely on the bar, just wont return when i let go
sry for the nubness, but that's why i'm asking
