Suzuki 779 ccm big thumper...makes a huge fun

Alright I'm intrigued. More pics and some info please!

Surprised there hasn't been more chatter in this thread, that bike is killer! I'm in for more details also...

Nice work! 800cc single awesome ;) Too bad you have to have that massive silencer, I guess thats to comply with the law :(

Hi guys, i am pleased that you like it, here's a little story ..

Conversion to DR Big Cafemoto
Basis for the conversion is the enduro suzuki Dr Big 750 . I thought the big single - cylinder ( 779 ccm ) has deserved better than to toil in an obese enduro. The 12 liter tank of a yamaha SR 500 took place after some adjustments . There followed a cafe racer seat ( also various adjustments needed ) and supermoto wheels in size 3.5 x 17 with tires 120'er and rear 4.5 x 17 with tires 150'er . Most cables have been painstakingly well hidden. A fork brace took place in the series fork that has been refined with wilbers springs . Lamp , turn signals , handlebars, mirrors, etc. were changed course . The exhaust with a stainless steel manifold plays the song of the single cylinder .
All in all it takes a little brain power to it all fits together , but I'm happy with the result. The fun she has refueled with 170Kg on winding country roads is fantastic.

greetings from really cold germany, volker

Beautiful bike! It's a cross between a flat tracker and a supermotard.
Is it a DR750 or an 800 though? 779cc is the 800 but you run the 750's rear drum brake... A 800 bigbore on the 750?

Please post more information/details:
- Where is that seat from?
- Side covers?
- Did you do anything to the engine? There is a nice chap called Hessler near you, do you know him? http://www.dr-big-shop.de/
- Rear shock is stock?
- Etc

...and you might want to drop the front fender 4-5cm. I think it would look smoother 'on' the front wheel (as opposed to 'over' it).

Cool bike though! I have a special place in my heart for big (very big) DRs.

Hello, I am glad that you like it, of course I know Stefan Hessler, there are some parts of him on the bike. The seat is from Kickstartershop in Germany. This is the original engine from the DR Big 800 with 779ccm. The Frame is from the DR 750 Big. The engine is a Little bit optimized, with exhaust and air filter.
