Suzuki GT250 Cluth Removal Help Needed

Hi All,

I am rebuilding my GT250 engine and I am a bit stuck. I have removed the clutch cover and the springs/plates etc but I can't for the life of me seem to remove the inner drum. The drum is held in by a large nut and tab washer (see picture below)

I have locked the engine but the inner drum still rotates freely. I don't want to damage it in any way by jamming something in there to stop it rotating.

Any suggestions?

Problem solved!!!

The trick to it (if anyone else has the same problem) is to shift the bike into top gear. Replace the pressure plates and press down on them and it will create enough friction to hold the inner hub in place.

Now to try and split the bloody crankcase, doesn't want to budge
