Suzuki GT250 Flasher Relay

I am ridiculously close to finishing my GT250 project and the last piece of the puzzle is the flasher relay.

I have two but whenever they are plugged in the indicators just stay on, no flashing.

All of the OEM relays I can find are upwards of $50.

eg.

Would a universal relay from Dime City do the job? I'm not that great with electricals

cheers

Are you running LED turnsignals? Because that would cause an OEM flasher not to cycle.
If you're not running LED's you can go to any parts supply chain and pick up a two prong flasher. You'll have to change the terminal end on your wires, or make blade to bullet jumper wires, but it should work for you.

Also... if you are running LED's, you can pick up a flasher at the parts chain also. Just make sure it's rated for LED's.

thanks for the reply (and your avatar),

I'm just running the original style bulb indicators.

two prong flasher it is then! I thought that might be the case but wasn't sure.

Glad I could help ;)
