t500 coils questions can I change the 2 singles to 1 dual

can i change the coils what to do with the wiring. there are to diffrent grounds? one goes to the bike and the other goes to the points, what to do.

u need individual coils per cylinder... they do not fire at the same time...

its a 180 degree twin right?

Yep, 180 degree twin they sure are. You cannot ditch the dual coils for the single, because otherwise you would ignite the fuel charge on its way into the cylinder. The timing doesn't work out.

You can, however, upgrade the coils, leads & plugs for more modern items. I highly suggest this, as it makes the bike easier to start and more willing to rev, especially higher in the rev range.

I'm not 100% but I think what you may be looking for is a 5 ohm single out put set of coils
