Tail light/Brake light Wiring Question

Hi I am almost to the stage of attempting to rewire my bike I have a 76 CB360T and was originally going to not run tail lights but decided its probably the safer choice to add them. But I want to wire my bike like trailer lights so the brake and turn go off the same bulb. How would I wire this and would anything special be needed to do so. Any advice is welcome thank to you all.
 
to have 2 separate 12v power sources feeding the 1 globe you would need to use directional diodes, this would allow power to flow to tye globe but not back to each source. however this wouldn't be the way to do it as once tge globe has the first 12v source the second wouldn't have anymore influence on the brightness of the globe. you would be better of using 2 dual filament globes, for left and right turn signals + tail light but you would still need to run another globe for stop as they don't (to my knowledge ) make a tripple filamented globe ???

oh and the trailer ones you've seen could be led, with led's on different points for brake/tail/turn ?

First thanks for the help and second I am not sure if the trailer ones were led but I was planning on using them if do. And while surfing the internet since my original post I found this the Trailer Light 3-2 Conversion Box towards the bottom of the page http://dr650.zenseeker.net/SignalLights.htm. the CB360 has a 130 watt Alternator....Not a whole lot. Ignition uses 40-50 watts, the battery needs between 10 and 20 watts, and the rest is for the existing lighting. there isn't any reserve or extra at all. I converted my rear turns to running and turn, and changed to an H4 Headlight. In the end, I went back to stock,as the alternator just won't keep up with the additional power draw. My battery would slowly drain while riding.

If you go to all LED's, you may have better success, but LED lights aren't quite as bright, unless you go to high output ones, and then you are back to the same issue of not enough watts.

Good luck with it, but I think in the long run you may be disappointed.

If you really want more lights, consider going to the Rick's motorsports higher output Stator. It should give you the littl extra to do what you want without the pain of dead batteries.
 
I am planning on using the Ricks Motorsports Stator so I might try I am still shaky on whether or not to try it but from the sounds of your experience I probably will not.
